Changes afoot at Viewlocity Technologies and CarbonView

In October 2009, Viewlocity Technologies, the provider of the carbon management and accounting solution CarbonView, welcomed Keith Andrews as its Chief Executive Officer.

Keith joins Viewlocity Technologies with more than twenty-five years experience at senior management levels in the technology industry within Australia and overseas. Previously, he was the CEO for publicly listed IP telephony management company Integrated Research and held various positions with Stratus Technologies and its predecessor, Stratus Computer, where responsibilities included senior corporate roles based in the United States and Asia as well as Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand.

As CEO of Viewlocity Technologies, Mr Andrews announced, “A key focus for the company will be to build our CarbonView business which provides carbon accounting and management solutions for enterprises and government. This is becoming increasingly important as companies become more aware of corporate social responsibility and their role in minimizing their carbon footprint.  The synergies with the traditional Viewlocity suite of products give the company a great platform for growth.”

In highlighting the focus for the company, Mr Andrews commented, “CarbonView is well established in Asia Pacific with a strong base of existing customers and our priority will be increasing the penetration of CarbonView in the United States. To achieve this, we will leverage our success in the Asia Pacific region and the experience of Viewlocity’s processes and people. As an established software provider, we have the confidence and experience to perform in a market crowded with start-ups. Our traditional Viewlocity business remains important to us and continues to realise strong growth. ”

In related developments, Fadi Geha, formerly Vice President for Asia Pacific, is becoming a master distributor for both Viewlocity and CarbonView product suites in the Asia Pacific region. Mr Geha comments, “I am excited about the opportunity to build on the growth of both Viewlocity and CarbonView in this region through the new distributorship, EcoView Technologies. We will continue to support and deliver the best supply chain visibility solutions to market while increasing our ever-growing presence in the carbon management market.
